矛𥎞（上莫候反下村亂反廣雅𥎞謂之鋋考聲短矛也古今正字與廣雅義同從矛贊聲）。

Maocuan 矛𥎞 (The first character has the fanqie mo + hou [máo]; the second has the fanqie cun + luan [cuàn]. The Guangya says: 'A cuan is called a short javelin [鋋].' The Kaosheng says: 'It is a short spear.' The Gujin zhengzi accords with the meaning in the Guangya; it takes "spear" [矛] and zàn [贊] as phonetic).
