擢本（撞卓反考聲云連根拔也方言云自關而西或云拔或擢蒼頡篇云抽也說文引從手翟聲也翟音宅翟字上從羽也）。

Zhuóběn 擢本 (Zhuó 擢 is fanqie 撞卓 [zhuó]. The Kaosheng says: 'to uproot completely'. The Fangyan says: 'west of the Pass, some say bá 拔, some say zhuó 擢.' The Cangjie pian says: 'to draw out'. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'to pull out; with radical shǒu 手 and dí 翟 phonetic; dí is pronounced zhái 宅, and the top of the character dí has radical yǔ 羽').
