𥿳耎（上正細字也孔註尚書云細小也說文微也從糸囟聲下而兗反鄭玄註考工記云耎柔耎也古今正字從而犬聲經本作輭通用亦作軟非也）。

Xìruǎn 𥿳耎 (The upper character is the standard form of xì 細. Kong's commentary on the Shangshu says: 'minute and small'. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'tiny; with radical mì 糸 and xìn 囟 phonetic'. The lower character is fanqie 而兗 [ruǎn]. Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Kaogong ji says: 'ruǎn means soft and pliable'. The Gujin zhengzi says it has radical ér 而 and quǎn 犬 phonetic. The base text of the sūtra has 輭, which is commonly used, or 軟, both of which are incorrect).
