眩瞖（上玄絹反蒼頡篇云視不明也說文目無常主也從目玄聲下伊計反考聲云目瞖也韻英蔽也廣雅障也從目形聲字經從羽作翳非本字義乖也）。

Xuànyì 眩瞖 (The upper character is fanqie 玄絹 [xuàn]. The Cangjie pian says: 'unclear vision'. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'the eyes lacking a fixed focus; with radical mù 目 and xuán 玄 phonetic'. The lower character is fanqie 伊計 [yì]. The Kaosheng says: 'a cataract of the eye'. The Yunying says: 'to obscure'. The Guangya says: 'to obstruct'. It is a phono-semantic character with radical mù 目. In the sūtra text, it is written with radical yǔ 羽 as 翳, which is not the primary character and departs from its meaning).
