作倡妓樂（倡音齒羊反玉篇云俳優戲笑也妓渠倚反切韻女樂也埤蒼云妓美女也以女為樂故也經作技字才藝也有作伎字非經義）。

Performing theatrical and female music (倡 has the sound of the fanqie 齒 + 羊; the Yupian says it means actors and comedic jesters. 妓 has the fanqie 渠 + 倚; the Qieyun says it means female music. The Picang says: 妓 means beautiful women, because women make music. The sūtra writes 技, which means talents and skills. Some write 伎, which is not the meaning intended by the sūtra).
