蝮蠍 ("vipers and scorpions": 蝮 is the fanqie fang + fu. The Sancang says: "It is the viper snake; its coloration is like a sash ribbon, it possesses fangs, and is the most venomous. North of the Yangtze it is called a huǐ [虺], sounded xū + guǐ fanqie." 蠍 means "to sting". In the sūtra it is erroneously written as the character 蝎, whose sound is hú + gè fanqie, which is a wood-boring grub and not this meaning).
