囹圄（上力丁反下魚呂反玉篇曰所以禁人也又云囚也釋名云囹領守繫者也謂領囚徒禁禦之也）。

囹圄 ("prison": the upper character is the fanqie lì + dīng; the lower character is the fanqie yú + lǚ. The Yupian says: "That by which people are restrained." It also says: "To imprison." The Shiming says: "Líng [囹] means to superintend [lǐng, 領] and guard the bound." It means taking charge of prisoners to confine and restrain them).
