五十七煩惱繫縛（按先明淨相經云五住煩惱輕重不同一住十品則成五十又約七縛一色縛二心縛三三昧縛四智慧縛五神通縛六因緣縛七轉法輪縛是也）。

五十七煩惱繫縛 ("fifty-seven defilement bonds": according to the earlier *Vimalaprabhā-sūtra, the defilements of the five abodes differ in lightness and heaviness; if one abode has ten grades, this makes fifty. Further, based on the seven bonds: first, bond of form; second, bond of mind; third, bond of samādhi; fourth, bond of wisdom; fifth, bond of supernormal powers; sixth, bond of causes and conditions; seventh, bond of turning the wheel of the Dharma).
