歲星（此東方木星也說文萬物之精上為列宿其歲星越歷二十八宿宣徧陰陽十二月一次也玉篇云律曆書名五星為五步所以歲字從步戍為聲也）。

Sui star (This is the wood star [Jupiter] of the east; the Shuowen says: "The essences of the myriad things ascend to become the constellations; the Sui star traverses the twenty-eight mansions, promulgating and circulating the yin and yang, moving one stage every twelve months." The Yupian says: "The Treatises on Pitch-pipes and Calendar designate the five planets as five steps (bu); hence the character sui (歲) is composed of 'step' (步) with 'shu' (戍) as the phonetic.").
