學諸技藝（奇蟻反才能也藝也此方有六藝謂禮樂射御書數是也西方技藝即習五明是也一者因明二聲明三醫方明四功巧明五者內明前說六十四能不出醫方四巧也）。

"Studied all arts and crafts" (藝 is in the fanqie 奇蟻 [yì]; it means talent, skill. In this land there are the six arts, namely rites, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and arithmetic. In the Western regions, arts and crafts refer to studying the five sciences: first, logic (hetuvidyā); second, grammar (śabdavidyā); third, medicine (cikitsāvidyā); fourth, arts and crafts (śilpakarmasthānavidyā); and fifth, inner science (adhyātmavidyā). The sixty-four talents mentioned earlier do not go beyond medicine and the crafts).
