判合（普旦反又作胖牉二形鄭玄曰胖半也得偶而合曰胖經作泮冰解也非此義也）。
Join as a pair (pàn, fanqie pǔ + dàn; also written with the two graphic forms 胖 and 牉. Zheng Xuan says: "Pàng means half; to obtain a mate and unite is called pàng." In the sūtra text it is written as 泮, which means "to melt like ice," which is not this meaning).
