七子喻者（普耀經云昔有老母人而有七子六證聖一猶在凡忽染王罪皆應從戮母念小子是凡恐終失念故愛偏重）。

The parable of the seven sons (the Lalitavistara-sūtra states: "Once there was an elderly mother who had seven sons. Six had realized sagehood, while one was still an ordinary worldling. Suddenly implicated in a royal offense, all were condemned to execution. The mother thought that her youngest son was an ordinary worldling and feared he would ultimately lose mindfulness, so her love was especially biased toward him").
