箏（說文云皷[糸*(烈-列+玄)]筑爭樂也秦人無義二子爭父之瑟中分之故號曰笋今加竹作笋）。

Zheng zither (the Shuowen says: "An instrument with strings played by plucking, contested in music; the men of Qin lacked righteousness, and two sons fought over their father's se zither, splitting it in half, hence it was called zheng 笋; now it is written with the bamboo radical").
