溫故（上烏昆反論語云溫故而知新何晏曰溫尋也又習也經作慍故字音威運反怒也恨也非經義也）。

Reviewing the old (wēngù; the first character has the fanqie w[ū] + [k]ūn; the Analects states: “He who reviews the old and knows the new”; He Yan says: “Wēn means to seek out, or to practice”; the sūtra writes it with the character wèn [indignation], whose pronunciation has the fanqie w[ēi] + [y]ùn, meaning anger or resentment, which is not the meaning intended by the sūtra).
