Striking, throwing, crushing, and weighing down (duī [垖] has the fanqie du + hui; it means falling or dropping; the orthodox form of the character is duī [磓]. The orthodox form of yā [押] is yā [壓], [fanqie:] wu + xia; it means pressing down. The character yā [押] has the ancient fanqie ya; it means a fence or partition, which is not the meaning here).
