摩羅耶山（亦云摩羅延摩羅此云垢也耶云除也山在南天竺境因國為名其山多白旃檀香入者香潔故云除垢也）。

Mount Malaya (also written Malayana; mala here means "filth"; ya means "removal." The mountain is in the territory of South India, named after the country. The mountain has much white sandalwood; those who enter it become fragrant and clean, hence it is called "filth-removing").
