菴羅樹女 (Āmrapālī, the mango-tree girl: Āmra, according to Tripiṭaka Master [Yijing], is the name of a fruit, shaped like a crabapple and tasting like a pear. The Bathhouse Sūtra calls her the "crabapple girl", who is this very person. Because she was conceived relying on a flower, she was called "moisture-born"; she was the noble consort of King Bimbisāra and the mother of the skilled physician Jīvaka).
