以柱髀（蒲米反北人用此音又必爾反江南行此音釋名髀卑也在下稱也古文亦作䠋經文有作𮛚䏶二體並俗字非正者也）。

Supported on the thighs (yǐ zhù bì 以柱髀) (pú + mǐ fanqie; Northerners use this sound. Also bì + ěr fanqie; this sound is used in Jiangnan. The Shiming says: 'Bì [thigh] means low (bēi 卑); it is named for being below'. In ancient script it is also written 䠋. Some sūtra texts write 𮛚 or 䏶; both forms are vulgar characters, not standard).
