增上慢（莫晏反切韻欺為謾緩為慢玉篇慢易也輕侮也遲也惰也不畏也緩也又倨也或為嫚字也）。

Overweening pride (增上慢): moyan [fanqie]. The Qieyun says: "To deceive is man (謾); to be lax is man (慢)." The Yupian says: "慢 means remiss; to slight; sluggish; indolent; fearless; loose; also haughty. Sometimes written as 嫚."
