守宮（此在舍者江南謂蝘蜓然體一物山東謂𧋐𧐎陜以西謂壁宮東方朔言非守宮即蜥蜴蝘蜓烏殄反蜓音殄𧋐此亦反𧐎音覓也）。

守宮 (*shou gong* [house gecko]: this is the one found in houses; south of the Changjiang it is called *yanting*, yet they are the same creature; east of the mountains it is called 𧋐𧐎; west of the Shaanxi pass it is called *bigong*; Dongfang Shuo said: "If it is not a *shougong*, then it is a *xiyi*"; for 蝘蜒, 蝘 is *wu* + *tian* fanqie; 蜒 is pronounced *tian*; 𧋐 is *ci* + *yi* fanqie; 𧐎 is pronounced *mi*).
