爆聲（上博教反火深烈也又普剝反說文爆灼也謂皮散起玉篇火部補角反蒲角反頗角三反灼也熱也有作古文曝字憤起也古文又作𣀛）。

爆聲 (*bao sheng* [crackling sound]: for the first, *bo* + *jiao* fanqie, fire burning fiercely; also *pu* + *bo* fanqie; *Shuowen jiezi*: "爆 means scorching", meaning the skin splits and rises; *Yupian*, under the fire radical, gives *bu* + *jiao* fanqie, *pu* + *jiao* fanqie, and *po* + *jiao* fanqie, three readings; to scorch, to be hot; some write the ancient form 曝, to burst open violently; in ancient script it is also written 𣀛).
