伶俜（上即丁反下匹丁反三蒼云伶俜猶聯翩也亦獨孤皃切韻行不正曰竛𥩵竛亦郎丁反𥩵亦普丁反竮又云或作[仁-二+(中/(ㄅ-(白-日)))]行不正作跉䟓呂貞反䟓勅貞反切韻䟓行不正也有作跉跰字林力生反跰補諍反與迸同跉不正迸散並非此義也）。

Solitary and wandering (伶俜: the first character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 即丁 [līng]; the second character is [pronounced with the fanqie] 匹丁 [pīng]. The Sancang says: *lingping* is like fluttering about; it also describes being lonely and alone. The Qieyun says: walking unsteadily is called 竛𥩵; 竛 is also pronounced 郎丁 [líng]; 𥩵 is also pronounced 普丁 [pīng]. It also says 竮 is sometimes written [仁-二+(中/(ㄅ-(白-日)))]. Walking unsteadily is written 跉䟓, [跉 is pronounced] 呂貞 [líng], and 䟓 is pronounced 勅貞 [chēng]. The Qieyun says: 䟓 means walking unsteadily. Some texts have 跉跰; the Zilin says [跉 is pronounced] 力生 [líng], and 跰 is pronounced 補諍 [bèng], synonymous with 迸 [bèng]. 跉 means unsteady and 迸 means scattered; neither is the meaning here).
