靉靆（上愛下代埤蒼切韻同廣雅靉靆翳薈烏外反翳薈雲興盛皃通俗文雲覆日為靉靆）。

Dense and cloudy (靉靆: the first character is pronounced like 愛 [ài]; the second character like 代 [dài]; the Picang and Qieyun agree. The Guangya says: *aidai* means dense and overgrown (翳薈, [薈 is pronounced with the fanqie] 烏外 [wèi]); *yihui* describes clouds rising thickly. The Tongsuwen says: clouds covering the sun are called *aidai*).
