奮迅（上俯問反揚也廣雅振也下私潤反疾也切韻亦息晉反信音同同疾也鳥之奮迅即毛起而身大故字從奞在田上奞音雖鳥也）。

奮迅 (The upper character has the fanqie fu-wen [fèn], meaning to raise up. The Guangya says: to shake. The lower character has the fanqie si-run [xùn], meaning swift. The Qieyun also gives the fanqie xi-jin [xìn], having the same sound as 信; both mean swift. A bird's fluttering [fenxun] refers to its feathers bristling and body expanding, hence the character is derived from 奞 above 田; 奞 has the sound sui, meaning a bird).
