閉三惡道（上必計反廣雅云閉塞也說文閉闔門也從門才聲俗從下作閇經從午作閈非也）。

閉三惡道 [close the three evil destinies] (The first character has the fanqie 必計 [bi]. The Guangya says: "閉 means to block." The Shuowen says: "閉 means to shut a door." It takes 門 as radical and 才 as phonetic. In vulgar writing it takes 下, written 閇. In the sūtras it is written with 午 as 閈, which is an error).
