等觀（古桓反說文觀諦視也又音古翫反觀望也二音通用舊維摩經作正觀菩薩是也）。

等觀 [equal contemplation] (Fanqie 古桓 [guan]. The Shuowen says: "觀 means to look closely." It is also pronounced with the fanqie 古翫 [guan], meaning to observe from afar; both sounds are used interchangeably. In the old Vimalakīrti-sūtra, the bodhisattva Zhengguan [Right Contemplation] is this one).
