仁者（而親反周禮云德一曰仁鄭玄曰愛人及物曰仁上下相親曰仁釋名仁者忍也好生惡煞善惡含忍也）。

仁者 [benevolent one] (Fanqie 而親 [ren]. The Zhouli says: "Of the virtues, the first is benevolence." Zheng Xuan says: "Loving people and extending to all things is called benevolence; superiors and inferiors having mutual affection is called benevolence." The Shiming says: "仁者 is endurance (ren). Loving life and detesting killing, enduring both good and bad").
