周窮（古文賙同之由反謂以財物與人曰賙詩云靡人不賙傳曰賙救也將救其急也字林賙贍也）。

Relieving the impoverished (周窮: the ancient character was written 賙, pronounced the same, *tsyi-yu* fanqie; providing people with goods and wealth is called *zhou* (賙). The Shijing states: 'There are none who are not relieved (賙).' The commentary says: '*Zhou* means to rescue, that is, about to rescue their emergency.' The Zilin says: '*Zhou* means to supply').
