邑中（周禮四井為邑鄭玄曰方二里也廣雅五里為邑十邑為鄉左傳凡邑有宗廟先君之主曰都无曰邑）。

In the township (邑中: the Zhouli states that four wells make a hamlet (邑). Zheng Xuan says: 'It is two li square.' The Guangya states: 'Five li make a township (邑); ten townships make a district (鄉).' The Zuozhuan states: 'Any settlement having an ancestral temple with the spirit tablets of former lords is called a capital city (都); one without is called an ordinary township (邑)').
