惶荒（胡光反下光讚經作慌呼晃反謂虛妄見也慌恐懅也慌慌忽也今經作荒案荒荒忽迷亂也其義是同漢書云忽荒冥漠無形也）。

Alarmed and bewildered (惶荒: *hu-kwang* fanqie. In the Guangzan jing the second character is written 慌, pronounced *xo-xwang* fanqie, meaning illusory sights; *huang* (慌) means terror and dread; *huanghuang* means vague and indistinct. The present scripture writes 荒; note that 荒 means vague, indistinct, and confused, its meaning being identical. The Hanshu says: 'Vague, indistinct, dark, and boundless, without form').
