蠲棄（上决緣反郭注方言云蠲除也說文從蜀益聲下企智反孔注尚書云棄廢也尒疋忘也說文捐也正作棄從[巾*又]推華奔㐬也逆子也籀文作棄華音半安反㐬音土忽反經作棄古文字也）。

To clear away and abandon (蠲棄; the upper character is fanqie 决緣; Guo's commentary on the *Fangyan* states: "*Juan* means to eliminate." The *Shuowen* states: "From *shu*, phonetic in *yi*." The lower character is fanqie 企智; Kong's commentary on the *Shangshu* states: "*Qi* means to cast aside." The *Erya* says: "To forget." The *Shuowen* says: "To discard; properly written as 棄, depicting hands pushing away a child running off, a rebellious son; the seal script writes it as 棄; *hua* is fanqie 半安; *liu* is fanqie 土忽; the sūtra writing it as 棄 is the ancient character").
