千輻 (*qiānfú*, thousand spokes; [the second character is] pronounced *fú*. Note: The mark of the thousand-spoked wheel is a mark of complete merit and virtue exclusive to the Buddha's body, appearing in six places: the palms of the two hands, the soles of the two feet, and within the flesh-lines above the two ankles, visibly and distinctly manifest, fully endowed like a cartwheel with a thousand spokes. It is brought about by the merit of bowing to the virtuous and holy over measureless eons).
