澄潔（上直陵反韻英云澄湛也說文從徵作瀓瀓清也從水形聲字）。

澄潔 (*chéngjié*, clear and pure; the upper character has the fanqie 直陵 [*zhí* + *líng*]. The *Yunying* says: "*Chéng* means limpid." The *Shuowen* writes it with 徵 as 瀓: "瀓 means clear; it is composed of water and is a phono-semantic character").
