水蛭（下之日反郭注爾雅云江東呼為蛭蟣也蒼頡篇云水蛭蟲也說文從虫至聲）。
Leech (the latter [character 蛭] is zhi + ri fan; Guo [Pu]'s commentary on the *Erya* says: "East of the river, it is called a leech or nit"; the *Cang Jie pian* says: "The water leech is an aquatic worm"; the *Shuowen* says: "It is formed with 'worm' (虫) and zhi (至) as phonetic").
