疾疫（下營壁反鄭注周禮云疾癘之鬼也古今正字從疒殳聲疒音女革反）。

Epidemic (for the latter [character 疫], ying + bi fan; Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the *Rites of Zhou* says: "The ghost of pestilential diseases"; the *Gujin zhengzi* writes it with 'sickness' (疒) and shu (殳) as phonetic; 疒 is nü + ge fan).
