芬馥（上芳文反尒雅香氣分布也說文從屮作𡵳分聲也下馮福反韓詩云馥亦芬也說文香皃從香從復省聲也）。

Fragrant and sweet 芬馥 (The upper character has the fanqie fang + wen; the Erya says: “A fragrance spreading widely.” The Shuowen derives it from cao 屮 to make 𡵳 with the phonetic fen 分. The lower character has the fanqie feng + fu; the Han poems commentary says: “馥 also means fragrant.” The Shuowen says: “The appearance of fragrance; deriving from xiang 香 [fragrance] with an abbreviated phonetic fu 復”).
