恖忖（上思字上從囟囟音信謚法曰深謀遠慮曰恖經作思俗字也下寸損反考聲忖度也思惟計度於心謂之忖形聲字也）。

Ponder and deliberate 恖忖 (The character above is si 思; its top derives from xin 囟; 囟 is pronounced xin; the posthumous naming rules state: “Profound schemes and far-reaching thoughts are called si 恖”; the sūtra uses 思, which is the popular character. The lower character has the fanqie cun + sun; the Kaosheng says: “忖 means to consider; deliberating and calculating in the heart is called cun; it is a phono-semantic compound character”).
