漂溺（上匹遙反顧野王云漂流也說文浮也從水票聲票音同上下寧滴反考聲溺沈也惑也從人從水作休正體字也滴音丁歷反）。

Drifting and drowning (漂溺): The upper character has the fanqie *pǐ* + *yáo* (漂). Gu Yewang says: 'To drift.' The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: 'To float. Derived from 水 (water) with 票 as phonetic; 票 has the same pronunciation.' The lower character has the fanqie *níng* + *dī* (溺). The *Kaosheng* says: '*Nì* means sinking; it also means being deluded. Composed of 人 (person) and 水 (water) as 休 is the standard character.' The character *dī* has the fanqie *dīng* + *lì*.
