赫弈（上享厄反毛詩傳曰赫赤皃說文從並二赤下音亦毛詩云奕奕輕麗廣大皃也鄭箋毛詩云赫奕光明皃也形聲字也）。

Blazing and resplendent (赫弈): The upper character has the fanqie *xiǎng* + *è* (赫). The Mao commentary on the *Classic of Poetry* says: '*Hè* means red appearance.' The *Shuowen [jiezi]* derives it from two 赤 placed side by side. The lower character is pronounced *yì* (弈). The *Classic of Poetry* says: '*Yì-yì* means light, graceful, and expansive appearance.' Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the *Classic of Poetry* says: '*Hè-yì* means bright and radiant appearance.' It is a phono-semantic compound.
