潛身（捷閻反易曰潛之為言隱而未見行而未成廣雅深也說文潛藏也從水朁聲朁音錯感反）。
Hiding oneself (潛身): Has the fanqie *jié* + *yán* (潛). The *Yijing* says: 'What is meant by "submerged" (潛) is hidden and not yet visible, acting and not yet completed.' The *Guangya* says: 'Deep.' The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: 'To conceal. Derived from 水 with 朁 as phonetic; 朁 has the fanqie *cuò* + *gǎn*.'
