期契 (the upper character is pronounced *qí*; the Zishu says: "To have a set deadline or limit." Jia [Kui]'s commentary on the Guoyu says: "To meet or convene." The Shuowen jiezi says the same; derived from 'yuè' (moon) with 'qí' (其) as phonetic).
