射術（上時夜反說文云中遠從身從𠂕小篆從寸作射說文云寸法度也寸亦手者也）。

射術 (Art of archery: The upper character has the fanqie 時夜 [shè]. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To hit a distant target; derived from 身 [body] and 𠂕.' In small seal script it is written with 寸 as 射. The Shuowen jiezi says: '寸 signifies rule and measure; 寸 also represents the hand').
