殞歿（上雲敏反下門骨反𦒱聲殞歿皆死也禮記[(餐-食)-又+冬]也毛詩盡也古文作歾又作從回象形古今正字殞歿竝從歹𠬛員皆聲也）。

Perished and died (the upper character is pronounced 雲 + 敏 fanqie; the lower character is pronounced 門 + 骨 fanqie. The Kaosheng says: “'Yun' (殞) and 'mo' (歿) both mean to die.” The Liji says: “To end.” The Mao Shi says: “To exhaust.” In ancient script it is written as '歾', or written with '回' pictographically. The Gujin zhengzi says: “Both '殞' and '歿' derive from the death radical [歹], with '𠬛' and '員' as their respective phonetics.”)
