析為（星亦反廣雅析分也說文破木也從木從斤或從片作㭊經文從手非也音章列反非此義下為字從爪正也音葦危反王肅注論語為作也）。

Divided into (pronounced 星 + 亦 fanqie. The Guangya says: “'Xi' (析) means to divide.” The Shuowen says: “To split wood. It derives from the wood radical [木] and the axe radical [斤].” Alternatively written with '片' as '㭊'. In the sūtra text it is written with the hand radical [拆], which is incorrect, pronounced 章 + 列 fanqie, which does not have this meaning. The lower character '為' is correctly written with '爪' [claws]; it is pronounced 葦 + 危 fanqie. Wang Su's Commentary on the Lunyu says: “'Wei' (為) means to do.”)
