投趣（上徒侯反左傳擿也擲也王注楚辭云合也掩也說文作𣪌古投字也遙擊也從手從殳）。

To cast oneself toward (投趣: the first character, tu [徒] + hou [侯] fan. The Zuozhuan says it means to strike or to throw. Wang's commentary to the Chuci says: “It means to unite; it means to cover.” The Shuowen writes it as 𣪌, an ancient form of the character 投; it means to strike from afar, formed from hand [手] and from lance [殳]).
