瞖目（於計反韻略云目障也從目殹聲也殹音於計反經作𪾼非也目字說文云人眼也象形從二重童子也）。

瞖目 (*yū* + *jì* [fanqie: yì]; the Yunlüe says: "An ocular film or opacity; derived from 'mù' (eye) with 'yì' (殹) as phonetic." 'Yì' is *yū* + *jì* [fanqie]. The sūtra writing 𪾼 is incorrect. As for the character 'mù' (目), the Shuowen jiezi says: "The human eye; a pictographic character depicting doubled pupils").
