攀枝 (grasping branches; the former is pu/ban fan; Shuowen jiezi says 'to draw toward oneself; composed of 手 with 樊 phonetic'; 樊 is pronounced fan; the latter is zhi/yi fan; Jixun says 'branches; composed of 木'; Shuowen jiezi says 'holding half a bamboo cane in hand is called 攴'; the ancient script writes it as [入/文]).
