惸獨（上葵營反孔注尚書云惸單也謂無兄弟也或作煢文字典說云合從𠔃從子訛）。

Solitary and alone (惸獨: the first character has the fanqie kui-ying; Kong's commentary on the Shangshu states that 惸 means single, referring to having no brothers; it is sometimes written as 煢; the Wenzi dianshuo states that it properly combines 𠔃 with 子, and the other forms are corruptions).
