炫燿（上玄絹反考聲云炫火明也說文炫燿也從火玄聲下遙照反賈注國語云燿明也說文照也從火翟聲經作曜亦通也）。

炫燿 [Dazzling brightness] (The upper character is fanqie 玄 + 絹 [xuàn]. The Kaosheng says: '炫 means the brightness of fire.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '炫 means dazzling; it has the radical 火 and the phonetic 玄.' The lower character is fanqie 遙 + 照 [yào]. Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: '燿 means bright.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To shine; it has the radical 火 and the phonetic 翟.' In the scripture it is written as 曜, which is also acceptable).
