冕𦨕（上眉辨反鄭注周禮云六服同冕首飾尊也世本云黃帝作冕考聲云冕冠也說文從曰免聲曰音毛報反）。

Coronet and cap (冕𦨕: the first character has the sound m- [眉] + -iǎn [辨] fanqie. Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: 'The six ceremonial robes all use the coronet (冕); it is an exalted head ornament.' The Shiben states: 'The Yellow Emperor created the coronet.' The Kaosheng says: '冕 means a cap.' The Shuowen says: 'Formed from [the hat radical] 曰 with miǎn (免) as phonetic. 曰 has the sound m- [毛] + -ào [報] fanqie').
